Thick cardboard is hard on scissors and on your hand. This small cordless cutter has a round blade that turns as you guide it, so you steer along the line and the blade does the cutting.
It charges over USB, sits comfortably in one hand and is small enough to keep in a drawer. Use it to open parcels, cut cardboard down to size or trim along a pencil line.

Why a rotary cutter
With scissors, your hand squeezes through the whole cut, and thick board tends to bend and tear along the way. With a rotary cutter you only guide it. The blade turns as it moves, which makes it easier to stay on your line.
Three easy jobs
Slit the tape on a parcel, cut a sheet of cardboard down to size, or trim a straight edge along a pencil line. It's made for cardboard and similar material, not for metal, wood or thick plastic.
In the box
One cordless rotary cutter and one USB charging cable. A wall adapter isn't included, so plug the cable into any USB power source. A single replacement blade is available as a separate option.

Our idea
They cut through cardboard, packaging, carpet, and other household materials with much less effort than traditional scissors or a manual box cutter. The cordless design makes it easy to maneuver, and it's lightweight enough to use comfortably for longer projects. I especially like it for breaking down shipping boxes and opening packages.

Small jobs
I’ve only had this for one night and I already love it to death. I had a massive backload of boxes I needed to break down, some thin and some fairly thick, and this tackled all of them. It glides through thin boxes like butter, but you do need to kind of muscle it through the thicker boxes (giving a good push).
What we check
I love this tool, I cut 12 large boxes in small manageable panels on one charge before noticing the electric scissors would soon need to be recharged. The scissors do make noise when operating but loud enough to overpower the tv show I was watching or scare my pups!
